David and Grace Thorn, members of the Cape Bird Club, have donated a truly beautiful portfolio of prints of South African owl illustrations by Claude Gibney Finch-Davies (1875 – 1920) for us to auction. The funds will be used for our conservation projects at Strandfontein.
There are twelve owl illustrations, as shown below (names as per illustrations). Each is 29cm wide x 35cm high. They would look stunning in a corridor or on a large wall. Perhaps ideal for a Guest House or even a hotel.
