There were 10 people on the walk, including me as the guide. The walk was 2 1/2 hrs long and 24 species were recorded. The bird list is included below.
Weather was cool and overcast. Light breeze. No rain. The Cape White Eyes were out in their numbers, along with lots of Southern Double Collared Sunbirds. The aloes and pincushions are coming into full bloom.
Interesting sightings:
Several Chaffinch in trees to the left above the cycads.
Black-headed Heron seen flying over at the top near the Silver Leaf trees.
Two Grey Mongoose and a rat also seen.
