This year on 23 January 2015 there was “a collective vote” for a braai in Kirstenhof at Clifford and Suretha’s home, for the year end function of 2014. We do things differently here. Thank you to both of them for their kind and generous hospitality.
A noted absentee was Shaun Overmeyer. He had a changed work commitment, and had to be out of town, unfortunately.
There was some sunshine peeking through the localised coastal cloud, scudding along in a strong SE wind. “The braai masters were at it, overseen by the hungry hunters gathered around the now traditional fire place”.
Dave and Sue had a special announcement to make with bubbly to celebrate. Their Klein Perle has been formally declared a Provincial Nature Reserve. Congratulations and very well done. Dave mentioned it has taken 9 years to accomplish.
