This is a working relationship with the City of Cape Town and the Zandvlei Trust.
After a week of almost continuous rainfall, Saturday was a beautiful sunny cool day. Sue and Chris spent the afternoon cutting down Port Jackson and Rooikrans saplings. There are some really beautiful large rocks within the jungle. Cutting down the invasives is opening up these areas. There is a sizable stand of bulbs coming up which were completely covered last month. We look forward to seeing what they are in the next couple of months.
Thanks to these two chaps who volunteered to take 3 large bags Una had filled down to the Main Road, Waste Removal site. Una cleared out more bedding, boxes and bottles from under the trees.
This Parrot beaked Tortoise and possibly the same one as on previous occasions came to investigate what we were doing.
