This is a working relationship with the City of Cape Town and the Zandvlei Trust.
It was drizzling most of the afternoon and cold.
Barry Parker, Robin Burnett, Bert Bron, Sue Wishart, Lizwi Dlamini (Simons Town High student), Eleanor Weideman (UCT 4th year student) worked in the middle section in the “forest area”, mainly on the honey suckle and pulling and cutting Port Jackson saplings. Bert work with Barry in the lower section cutting trees. Lizwi had fun getting the saplings out roots and all. The soil was damp so they came out easily. Eleanor also learnt a lot she said afterwards.
There were no birds seen due to the weather, or other creatures.
