The Cape Bird Club members have been helping the City of Cape Town by clearing invasive alien vegetation since 1974, when Alan Morris started this activity formaly the Wildwood Bird Sanctuary, now the Zandvlei Nature Reserve. Come and help our core group, clear seedlings, saplings and cut down trees. You may learn some of the complexities about this managed natural environment too. Small school groups, students or individuals who need to do their social responsibility projects are welcome too. There is plenty of time to do some birding as well.
