• The CBC News Sheet was the monthly and quarterly communication to our members in the early days of the club, starting at issue No. 01 in June 1950 and continuing to issue No. 52 in April 1959.
• The CBC Newsletter started at issue No. 53 in August 1959 and continued to issue No. 127 in March 1977.
• Then the Promerops magazine started at issue No. 128 in 1977.
• Extracts from Promerops became available on the old website at issue No. 259  in August 2004.
• Then the full magazine became available in digital format on the old website at issue No. 289 in June 2014.

The Promerops magazine still continues to be produced and published by its members.

In January 2015 Margaret Koopman from the Niven Library reported she had previously scanned the first 30 editions into pdf documents, for which we thank her and are very grateful she took the initiative to do so.
In March 2015 Gavin Lawson scanned the balance of the 127 editions into pdf documents and made them available on the old website.
