This is a working relationship with the City of Cape Town and the Zandvlei Trust.
It was raining and overcast with heavy clouds from the north. We cut down more shrubs including copsed Manatoka stumps in the south west corner of the park. 6 bags of pap sakke and numerous bottles were removed. A bed with springs in good condition was found and removed from the bush along Bath Road. The areas cleared are showing lots of new growth. Chasmanthae are proliferating, a large Lycium shrub which was smothered is full of leaves in the last month and appears to have recovered. Una saw 2 mongoose crossing Bath Road into the park. Kelp Gulls were surfing the wind ridges and breaks across the park at times. No photos were taken to save the camera being soaked.
