Meet at the Main Gate of the Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve before 08h00. All are welcome, experienced or not. If you are new to birding, I shall put you into a group which will help you learn quickly and easily. There is always something new to be seen or heard. Keurbos Farm and Bird Reserve, Elgin

Meet at 08h30. Keurbos is Jessie Walton’s apple farm and nursery. Jessie has established an indigenous garden enjoyed by people and birds. She has a passion for rescuing injured and baby birds and assisting them back into the wild. There is a lovely wetland where Jessie has constructed a hide at one of the ponds and this is where we will start birding. Possibilities include Giant Kingfisher and Black Crake.
