The Cape Bird Club members have been helping the City of Cape Town by clearing invasive alien vegetation since 1974, when Alan Morris started this activity in the Wildwood Bird Sanctuary, now the Zandvlei Nature Reserve. Come and help our core group, clear seedlings, saplings and cut down trees too. Small school groups or individuals who need to do their social responsibility projects are welcome too. See this link for more of what we do.
