Please join us by meeting at the Edith Stepehens Nature Reserve gate at 08h30 on Friday morning. Then we travel to the Symphony Way Nature Reserve up the road. The Reserve is situated next to the Cape Town Airport, south of the Stellenbosch Arterial Road and the eastern boundary is Symphony Way.

Meet at 08h30. Tygerberg Nature Reserve is a 309 hectare reserve on the Tygerberg Hills. It supports one of the last remnants of the critically endangered Swartland Shale Renosterveld vegetation type and boasts 562 plant species. The reserve has 137 bird species recorded, including Black-winged Kite, Peregrine Falcon, and Barn Owl. The area is hilly and requires a level of fitness. Wear good walking shoes.
