Evening Meeting: Zambia birding and research. Speaker: Joel Radue.

  Meet at 19h30. Joel was fortunate to visit southern Zambia for fieldwork during his studies at the FitzPatrick Institute. This evening he will talk about birding in Zambia’s Miombo Woodlands, as well as sharing some of his research on the fascinating world of nightjars, plovers, and coursers.

Don’t miss your club’s AGM! Mike Buckham will present the Chairman’s report and other AGM matters, and Joy Fish will present the Club’s financial statements. Our Chairman has a passion for endemic birds, and following the business of the meeting, he will talk about some of his memorable moments trying to see all of them. Mike will also give a few pointers as to where some of the best places are to find the trickier ones. It will be a journey through some of South Africa's most beautiful places in search of some of our most treasured birds.
