Bird Sighting in the Southern Suburbs – 15 January 2019.

On the 15th January 2019, Emma Holme sent an email with the following record;

“We have had a Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill in our Kenilworth garden for a couple of days.

It doesn’t seem to afraid of us (although we haven’t gotten too close) and stays perched in our oak and bottle brush tree. It has been eating seed left out on a bird tray in the tree”.
