The launch of the Flamingo Bird Club took place at the Oasis Business Park, Philippi Horticultural Area on the 22nd February 2011.
This is an Outreach Project of the Cape Bird Club by Anne Gray promoting and encouraging environmental awareness, education, and the need to conserve the wetlands of the Cape Flats Area, and to have fun birdwatching, for adults and scholars.
A very important new club in a wonderful birding area and a welcome addition to the birding fraternity.
