Not only did we take in Fynbos and coastal birding, but expectations were high for seeing some pelagic species from the land at Cape Point, after the previous weekends cold front and bad weather.

Searching and..........                                           searching, but no Albatrosses, Petrels or Shearwaters

However, most were disappointed as no Albatrosses, Petrels or Shearwaters were seen. A few Sub Antarctic Skuas scavenging behind a fishing boat and plenty of Gannets were the highlight, apart from the usual Cormorants and Gulls.
