The Cape Bird Club Nagenoeg visit – September 2009 The Juniors look out over the dam at Nagenoeg at the end of an exciting morning that yielded 54 species.
Looking out over the dam. Of these we were delighted by flocks of Common Wax-bills as well as Red and Yellow Bishops. Raptors included African Goshawk, Jackal Buzzard and a persistent Black-shouldered Kite that hovered over our shared hunting ground for most of the morning. Finding Blue Crane on the island in the dam was the cherry on the top! Heather Howell.
