Intaka Island visit – August 2009

Our August outing to Intaka Island was a little disappointing as the reserve has not yet recovered from the drastic alterations to the pond behind the ticket office and the flooded meadow yielded less than previous years.

Alexis, Rana, Nick, Abigail, Ra-eez, Matt and Matthew  on one of the walkways.

However, breeding Red Bishops, Sacred Ibis and White-breasted Cormorants were much in evidence and the weather was good.
