An enthusiastic group out in the very chilly weather at the Wetlands Park.

The weather was overcast and we did have a shower half way down the boardwalk, but generally speaking it was a fruitful outing.
Orangethroated Longclaws and Yellow Bishops (Yellowrumped Widows) were the highlight of the visit, as well as a couple of Blackcrowned Night Herons on the Detention Dam. Water fowl viewed from the boardwalk were not as abundant as last year. Some Juniors had a fleeting glimpse of an Ethiopian Snipe.

Kyle and Matthew are to be congratulated on their excellent spotting ability, as well as their extensive knowledge of birds.
