Zandvlei Nature Reserve – 4th June 2006

The scheduled visit to Wildevoelsvlei was changed to Zandvlei Nature Reserve.

Kyle, Matthew, Jamie, Jay and Bridget attended and we invited Gerry Meihuizen to accompany us as our "Gerry-scope".
His kind participation was invaluable and we saw 58 birds of which the highlights were Osprey, Little Bittern and a pretty blue Budgerigar!
Not bad for the middle of winter! Our thanks to Gerry!
