The Cape Bird Club CWAC (Co-ordinated Waterbird Annual Census). The data for all the sites where members participate will be published here as they become availble. If you are a co-ordinator or volunteer at any
of the CWAC sites in the CBC activity areas, you are welcome to submit any info or

CWAC - is
the Co-ordinated Waterfowl Annual Census. This takes place
throughout Southern Africa, with the results processed at the Animal Demographic
Unit (ADU) at the University of Cape Town.
Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve. Zandvlei viewed from north to south, with
Simons Town in the distance across the bay. The Zandvlei CWAC map with the pentad co-ordinates supplied by Doug Harebottle. The red line designates the pentad. The pentad above or north of Zandvlei is 3400_1825.
The blue lines indicate the areas for the counts.
