For more information about these projects, see dates and venues below.

  • All members are encouraged to participate in these outings at the various sites.
  • Information gathered helps scientists determine many findings about our natural habitats and the birds that use them.
  • This also helps the management policies by the relevant authorities in the Cape Fynbos areas, which is a World Heritage Site.
  • Send in your photographs to the webmaster. 
    We need to let others know that we care about "our birding areas". 

CWAC – is the  Co–ordinated Waterfowl Annual Census. This takes place throughout Southern Africa, with the results processed at the Animal Demographic Unit (ADU) at the University of Cape Town.
