  • All members and visitors are encouraged to participate in these outings at the various sites.
  • Information gathered helps scientists determine many findings about our natural habitats and the birds that use them.
  • This also helps the management policies by the relevant authorities in the Cape Fynbos biome, which is a World Heritage Site.
  • Send in your photographs to the webmaster.
  • We need to let others know that we care about "our birding areas".

MyBirdPatch - is a smaller, finer scaled area defined by you for your ease of use.

This takes place throughout Southern Africa, with the results processed at the Animal Demographic Unit (ADU) at the University of Cape Town.
