1. The Greater Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve and the Blaauwberg Conservation Area.
On
the 27th October 2006 the Provincial Minister for Environment, Planning and
Economic Development - Tasneem Essop proclaimed the
Greater Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve and the Blaauwberg Conservation
Area as local authority Nature Reserves.
This is a very welcome direction for Nature Consurvation in the City of Cape
Town.
