Dick Barnes from the Cape Bird Club does the count with a small team of people. There is always a requirement for more helpers, as it is a vast amount of area to cover. The results are co-ordinated by the Avian Demography Unit at UCT.
He also leads the monthly counts which take place on the second Sunday of the month at 08h00. Come and help.
