12/10/2008 – Ann Koeslag reports "The team of Adam Welz, Sharon Yodaiken, Lucia Rodrigues, Walter Neser and myself have wing tagged and ringed the new chick in September.

Walter climbed to the nest at 55 meters above the ground, which took 2.5 hours!! He had to climb down again after placing the chick safely back in the nest.

17/09/2008 – Ann Koeslag reports "This seasons chick is estimated to be about 7 weeks old".

23/07/2008 – Ann Koeslag reports "The Fish Eagles have built another nest".

09/04/2008 – Disaster the nest of about 12 - 15 years came crashing down in high winds as the planation trees were cut down too close to the 50 metre high gum tree.
There was no wind protection / break from the north west side for the tree which has gown for about 90 years.

03/03/2008 – The Fish Eagles nest indicated with yellow arrow was measured with a GPS at 44 metres.
